It may seem strange to mark the moments of a life by furniture but I think it has a certain logic. I moved constantly throughout my life, as many people do. Each Cushman piece is a piece of furniture built so well, so beautifully that I can depend upon it without reservation. I bought this book expecting information about the Cushman Company. What I got, in addition to a wonderful history, was an intimate look into the life of a woman who grew up with Cushman furniture and has anchored many of her childhood and adult memories to it. The only disappointment in the book was the last page…….I wanted MORE!
